Saskatchewan Polytechnic experienced a cybersecurity incident October 30, 2020, which disrupted our operating systems. Students are encouraged to visit the Access to Learning & Services tab for the most current list of operating platforms and services that have resumed, and all necessary instructions to access and log in to them. We are making progress resuming services in a phased, secure manner. FAQs are also regularly updated and may be the fastest way to find answers to your questions right now.

Please know that IT Services, external experts and third party suppliers are working together with departments and schools to fully resume operations and services for you. At this time, some services are not available. As we make services available, they may not be offered in quite the same manner as previously. Regularly visit us here for the most current information. Saskatchewan Polytechnic is taking the cybersecurity incident very seriously and is working closely with external experts to make systems available. Returning to learning was our top priority.

To date, our cautious, phased approach has been successful. We will continue to resume services in a secure manner following these same protocols.

All online classes have resumed. Limited in-person learning is steadily being resumed (see list) in line with COVID-19 protocols.

Sask Polytech is increasing online security for students and employees. This includes multi-factor authentication for online services, additional information about how to spot phishing emails and new antivirus software for employee computers. There is no reason to conclude at this point that any personal information has been compromised.
