Current Status

Saskatchewan Polytechnic experienced a cybersecurity incident in late October, 2020, which disrupted our operating systems. IT Services, external experts and vendors continue to resume services in a secure manner. This cautious, phased approach is proving successful with the majority of student services now available. There are still some exceptions and we thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Campusupdate.ca provides information specifically related to the cybersecurity incident.

Saskpolytech.ca is available for students, prospective students and other interested parties. Some functions are not yet available. As functions are restored, they are visible and accessible.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is making good progress resuming services disrupted by the cybersecurity incident October 30, 2020.

Our top priority was our students and their learning experience. Online learning platforms were restored within ten days. 

We are looking forward to an improved IT system that allows seamless collaboration and teamwork across Sask Polytech, is more secure and has greater mobile-friendly capabilities.
